About me
Louis Kovacs, MD, is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in sports medicine. He practices at MedStar Orthopedics in Timonium, where he sees patients from childhood through adulthood for nonoperative orthopaedic and sport-related issues. Dr. Kovacs is the Medical Director and Team Physician for Towson University Athletics and Notre Dame of Maryland University Athletics. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He is an alumnus of St. John's College, Annapolis, where he was a member of the crew and croquet teams.
