About me
Ashwini Sardana, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician currently practicing at MedStar Health Primary Care at McLean in Virginia and MedStar Health Primary Care at Lafayette Centre in Washington, D.C. He holds advanced certifications in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). His areas of clinical interest include adult medicine, chronic disease diagnosis and management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, and diabetes. Dr. Sardana brings diverse experience in primary care, emergency medicine, and urgent care. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, and can also converse in Arabic and Spanish.
Dr. Sardana completed his internal medicine residency at George Washington University/Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. After completing his residency, he served as Chief Resident, Internal Medicine. Prior to joining MedStar Health, he worked with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pennsylvania. His extensive experience and certifications underscore his comprehensive expertise in patient care.
