About me
Dr. Karen Bauer grew up in Southern Maryland and has joined Shah Associates at her father, Dr. Robert J. Bauer's, office in Mechanicsville. Karen earned her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Practice at Christiana Care in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Bauer's interests included women's health, pediatrics, adult medicine, sports medicine, dermatology and geriatrics. At her Mechanicsville office, she practices office gynecology, adolescent medicine, immunizations, well visits, Class 1,2,3 & 4 Flight Physicals and the management of chronic diseases.
