About me
Kelly Magoffin, MS, RD, LDN is a registered dietitian in the Bariatric and General Surgery Department at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech, Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Boston University, and completed her dietetic internship at Virginia Tech. Kelly has extensive experience in weight management, bariatric surgery, and outpatient nutrition counseling. She provides individualized nutrition care throughout the bariatric journey, both before and after surgery. Committed to a patient-centered approach, Kelly is dedicated to helping patients build sustainable, healthy habits that support long-term wellness and an improved quality of life.
