About me

Dr. Rebehn is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. Her areas of special interest and expertise include:
•    Fractures and dislocations
•    Peripheral nerve compression, including carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes
•    Tendon transfers and tendon injuries
•    Hand, wrist, and forearm trauma
•    Sports injuries to the hand and wrist
•    Arthroscopy of the wrist and wrist surgery
•    Arthritis and chronic deformities of the hand and wrist

When working with patients, she focuses on taking care of the whole person, not simply treating the hand. She takes the time to understand each patient’s condition and expectations and creates individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Rebehn is active nationally in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), serving as a member of the public education committee on hand and upper extremity conditions. Her research focus is clinical outcomes in hand and extremity surgery. She has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and PAIN. She is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

As a medical student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Dr. Rebehn was a recipient of the Philpott Family Scholarship Award for academic excellence. During her orthopedic surgery residency at St. Louis University in Missouri, she was appointed academic chief resident.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Rebehn enjoys working out and spending time with family.

Dr Rebehn was attentive, detailed and thorough in her recommendations, engaged with my concerns, and repeated next steps ensuring that I understood and that my questions/concerns were addressed. I appreciated the detailed instruction on what the OT referral was for and how to get the EMG scheduled (no neurologist visit needed, just have EMG scheduled). She warned me that the EMG test is uncomfortable so that I am prepared. I was respected as a decision-maker rather than being told the plan. I appreciated her conservative approach with OT and a followup visit rather than jumping to a surgical solution. This was a great visit and I would recommend this provider to anyone!
