About me
Kristin E. Murphy, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in both inpatient and outpatient general cardiology at MedStar Health. With over nine years of experience as a PA, she has cared for patients in inpatient cardiology and cardiac ICUs, the cardiac catheterization lab, inpatient and outpatient stress testing labs, and urgent care, and is skilled at collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide the highest quality care to patients.
Prior to her current position, she worked with the Cardiac Critical Care & Advanced Heart Failure program at the University of Maryland Medical Center; in General & Interventional Cardiology at George Washington University Hospital, and in Interventional Cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Cardiology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Women in Transplant Cardiology.
