About me
Margaret Harvey Granitto, PhD, ANP-BC, RN is a certified nurse practitioner with MedStar Health, where she cares for a diverse range of cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ms. Granitto brings decades of experience to her position, working in several specialty cardiac centers throughout the region including the cardiac catheterization laboratory and the renowned transplant program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. During her career, her research on a wide variety of cardiology-related topics has been published in numerous professional and peer-reviewed journals. She also served on the faculty at Georgetown University from 2008 to 2023 while maintaining an active clinical practice.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International.
