About me
Dr. Rita Jhaveri earned her medical degree at Surat Government Medical College in India; she now specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Prior to coming to Shah Associates, Rita worked as an E.R. physician at St. Joseph's Hospital and The Nicolai Medical Center in New Jersey. In medicine, she gets the most pleasure from the feeling she gets when she sees her patients aging gracefully and living independently. She is also learning about holistic medicine as an alternative to traditional medicine. There are many advantages of holistic medicine, such as a means to avoid stress, develop a healthy attitude, and build spirituality. In her leisure time, Dr. Jhaveri teaches Yoga, likes to cook new foods and enjoys taking long nature walks.
