Dr. Mary Jane Reen, MD FAAP is both a pediatric hospitalist and a primary care pediatrician at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. She is an associate professor of pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Reen's love of Georgetown dates back to 2007 when she started as an undergraduate. She stayed for medical school, graduating in 2015, and residency, graduating in 2018. Dr. Reen completed a chief residency year before joining the faculty in 2019. She has thoroughly enjoyed involvement in medical education through both the school of medicine and the residency program. Dr. Reen was very excited to join the residency leadership team as Associate Program Director in 2023. Dr. Reen lives in Washington, DC with her husband, son, and rambunctious pup. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, exploring different restaurants in the area, and cheering for the Georgetown Hoyas.
