Dr. Weiguang Yao is a certified medical physicist with extensive clinical and research experience in proton therapy, including proton LET measurement, correlation of LET and dose toxicity, use of CBCT for QACT reduction and timepoint of adaptation plan, robust planning, range-based registration, proton dose calculation. His expertise also includes CBCT scatter correction, 3D CBCT reconstruction, multi-leaf collimator modeling in dose calculation, and bio-mathematics modelling.
