Ronald Romero Barrientos

Ronald is a research assistant with the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare. As a research assistant, Ronald supports various research projects undertaken by the Center, such as grants funded by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), as well as several others. Since joining the Center, he has grown his skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, manuscript preparation, and data collection and management, and has shown growth as a resourceful team member. Ronald has progressively developed his research interests in the clinical environment, health information technology, application development, usability, and cognitive functions related to healthcare delivery. Ronald graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. In his free time, he enjoys exploring different music genres, trying new foods, and watching baseball.
