Urgent care coming soon to NoMa
MedStar Health Urgent Care is opening this summer in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC, at 1231 3rd Street, NE, Suite A. Located on the first floor of a newly constructed building across from the NoMa-Gallaudet University Metro Station, the center will provide trusted urgent care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries for all ages.
The NoMa urgent care center will offer:
- On-site lab testing
- Full-body x-rays with on-site interpretation
- EKGs
- When needed, telehealth consultations with specialty providers in the areas of cardiology, emergency, ENT (ear, nose, and throat), ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and spine
- PCR testing with immediate results for strep, flu, COVID-19, and RSV
- Rapid STI testing and HIV testing for males and females
- Language interpretation including ASL
- Connection to the MedStar Health hospital, primary care, and specialty care system – the largest in our region
- Most private insurance accepted, as well as in-state Medicare and Medicaid, supplemental insurance, and self-pay patients
