Patients who visit MedStar Health Vascular Surgery at Bowie receive expert clinical care for vascular-related conditions. In this office, we use ultrasound to evaluate carotid artery disease, aneurysms, varicose veins and venous insufficiency, Peripheral arterial disease, and dialysis access.

Please note, our Vascular Surgery clinic is located inside the same office as the Cardiology clinic. 

Our office also offers a number of amenities for patients, such as:

• A bus stop right outside the office   
• On-site vascular laboratory with testing for veins, arteries, carotids, aneurysms, and dialysis

Geetha Jeyabalan, MD, FACS, RPVI is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute who offers evaluation and consultation for the treatment of all vascular disorders. She is also the lead of MedStar Health’s Vein Centers in Annapolis. She has an outstanding foundation in all forms of endovascular, minimally invasive, and open surgery procedures. She treats the full breadth of vascular disorders including carotid disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, limb preservation for peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, and venous disease. Dr. Jeyabalan brings the latest advanced endovascular and surgical techniques to her patients using her extensive clinical and research background. She enjoys being able to tailor appropriate therapies to individual patients’ needs and base decisions on the latest evidence-based medicine and cutting-edge technology. She is active in multiple leadership positions in the Society for Vascular Surgery and publishes original research.  She wants patients to understand that vascular surgeons are uniquely trained to offer the full spectrum of available vascular treatments.
