EI&D Governance structure
MedStar Health EI&D Steering Committee. Comprised of executive and mid-management leaders representing all departments across MedStar Health, the EI&D Steering Committee promotes practices and initiatives that support equity, inclusion, and diversity. The EI&D Steering Committee collectively established the EI&D Shared Purpose and Outcomes, which combined serve as our MedStar Health EI&D Strategic Focus.
Entity Councils. The Entity Councils are a way for associates to connect, learn, and share insights that benefit them, the Company, and our communities. There are various opportunities for associates to engage with their respective Entity Councils to illuminate challenges, submit ideas and recommendations, celebrate successes, and share opportunities to further enhance our workplace, services, and communities.
MedStar Health Board of Directors EI&D Committee. The landmark action to establish an EI&D Committee at the MedStar Health Governance level demonstrates a long-term commitment to ensure EI&D is embedded across our organization.
