At our Charlotte Hall location, our experts provide diabetes and endocrinology services. Our specialized services include:

• Diabetes Clinic, staffed by a multidisciplinary team of experts, including certified diabetic educators. We provide diagnosis, treatment, patient and family education and long-term management for people with diabetes.
• MedStar Pituitary Center, which provides coordinated care between several medical specialties including endocrinology, neurosurgery, neuro-ophthalmology and radiology.
• Thyroid cancer treatment with individualized dosimetry to assess and calculate radiotherapy and use of oral chemotherapy when appropriate.
• Osteoporosis, identification of cause(s) and treatment with current approaches.
• Genetic testing for endocrine disorders.
• Interdisciplinary care provided in conjunction with other medical specialists including nuclear medicine physicians and the surgical experts at the Washington Cancer Institute.
