About me
Dr. Amanda Tinsley is a board-certified neurologist and headache specialist. She sees patients in McLean, Virginia.
The conditions she treats include migraine, cluster headaches, tension-type headache, post-traumatic headaches, occipital neuralgia, and rare headache disorders. She uses a wide variety of treatment methods in headache management including medications, nonpharmacologic therapies, lifestyle modifications, and procedures such as Botox for chronic migraine and nerve blocks for chronic headache.
Dr. Tinsley is involved in numerous clinical trials investigating new treatments for headache disorders and has presented her research at national and international conferences. She is dedicated to medical education, teaching residents and medical students. She is a member of the American Headache Society, International Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
