About me
Amy Lee, MD, is a general obstetrician/gynecologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center with office locations in the Women’s Community Health Practice and MedStar at Lafayette Centre.
Dr. Lee is a generalist who manages a variety of gynecological conditions including but not limited to abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smears, contraception, and fibroids. In addition to gynecologic care, Dr. Lee also enjoys providng prenatal care and welcoming new babies while on call at MedStar Washington Hospital Center's Labor and Delivery.
In addition to her clinical interests in general gynecology and obstetrics, Dr. Lee is also interested in academic medicine. She is Medical Student Clerkship Director for the Georgetown University Medical School students rotating at Washington Hospital Center for their third year OB/GYN clerkship and acting internship as fourth year students. She is also actively involved in the training of OB/GYN and Internal Medicine residents.
Dr. Lee received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences after completing a masters program in physiology from Georgetown University. She then completed four years of specialty residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, affiliated with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Lee is passionate about providing high quality and evidence-based medicine to the women of the region.
