About me
April Tweedt, DO, is the facility medical director at MedStar Health Primary Care at Olney.
Prior to joining MedStar Health in 2010, Dr. Tweedt was in private practice in Olney, MD. She currently serves on the MedStar Governing Council, Primary Care Council, and MedStar Montgomery Medical Center's medical executive, credentials, and quality and safety peer review committees as Vice President of the Medical Staff. She was a member of MedStar Health's Physician Leader of the Future inaugural class for 2014-2015. She has previously served as MedStar Montgomery Medical Center's Continuing Medical Education Committee chairperson, as well as the Maryland Association of Osteopathic Physicians' vice-president from 2006 to 2007 and president from 2008 to 2009.
Dr. Tweedt has two children, enjoys music and sports, and is an avid West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
