About me
Carlee Andrews, PA, is a board-certified physician assistant working in gastroenterology with a focus on the diagnosis and management of pancreatic and biliary disorders. She collaborates with MedStar Health’s board-certified gastroenterology physicians at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital providing comprehensive care to adult patients with a diverse range of gastrointestinal tract disorders. Carlee is committed to empowering patients by creating a welcoming, respectful environment where they feel comfortable and understood during their health journey.
Her philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each patient’s individuality. She values shared decision-making as a cornerstone of patient-centered care. Her role is to guide, educate, and support patients in understanding their options, while ensuring they feel heard and involved in every step of their care. Carlee takes the time to listen with patience and empathy, aiming to build trust and long-term partnerships that promote wellness and informed choices.
She earned a master’s degree in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina.
