Firas Al Sammarrai, MD, MBCHB, is a nephrologist at MedStar Health. Dr. Al Sammarrai received his medical degree at the University of Tikrit College of Medicine and completed an internship at Medical City Teaching Hospital. He completed a residency at University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital. Dr. Al Sammarrai completed a fellowship at George Washington University and is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He is also a certified clinical hypertension specialist.
