About me
Glenn Sapp, MD, FAAPMR is an attending physician at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network providing comprehensive care for patients with sports and spine illness and injury. Dr. Sapp is a graduate of the University of Florida, College of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Virginia and served as a Chief Resident. He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at MedStar NRH/MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
During his training, Dr. Sapp was actively involved in resident teaching from cadaver anatomy lab instruction to ultrasound and procedural teaching. He has served as a mentor for under-represented minorities in medicine such as BIPOC and LGBT groups.
He has also made a number of poster presentations at national medical meetings.
His clinical interests include general musculoskeletal injury as well as sports and spine injury. He provides comprehensive outpatient services for patients working closely with the entire rehabilitation team to assess patients and to develop a treatment plan that promotes the fullest possible recovery. Pain management includes consideration of therapies, injections/procedures, alternative techniques, and non-opioid medication management.
