Heidi Appel, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed a dual internship and residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Appel then went on to complete a pediatric pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship program at Northwestern University. Dr. Appel is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine.
