Dr. Abbruzzese earned his medical degree from American University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington DC VA Medical Center. Dr. Abbruzzese completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Abbruzzese is double board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
