About me
Dr. Ramirez graduated Summa Cum Laude with his B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Maryland. He went on to receive his M.D., Magna Cum Laude, from The Georgetown University School of Medicine. During medical school he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and awarded the Donald M. Knowlan, M.D. Award in Internal Medicine as well as the William P. Argy, M.D. Award in clinical teaching. Dr. Ramirez then stayed in DC to complete his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, graduating as a member of the Michael Adams M.D. Clinician Educator Track.
In 2024, Dr. Ramirez joined the practice at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital Internal Medicine as a full-time faculty member, where he is honored to continue serving the community that he has called home throughout the entirety of his medical training.
Dr. Ramirez practices a patient-centered philosophy of care. He aims to work as a team with each of his patients to care for their entire person- not just one disease or symptom- in order to optimize their mental, physical, and overall wellbeing.
