About me
Omolola Akinmadelo, DNP/FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner who offers care and treatment for all major gastrointestinal disorders, including: inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, colon cancer screening, unexplained weight loss, autoimmune and viral hepatitis, liver and gallbladder disease, constipation and diarrhea, GI bleeding, gastroesophageal reflux disease, pancreatitis, and many other gastroenterology conditions.
Omolola’s goal is to provide compassionate and exceptional care to patients by listening, educating, empowering, and encouraging them to be active partners in their health.
She has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree combined with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Omolola sees patients at MedStar Health Gastroenterology at Olney and MedStar Health Gastroenterology at Silver Spring.
