About me
Dr. Cozzi is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in Sports Medicine. He sees patients at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and locations in Federal Hill and Gambrills. He also serves as a team physician for Morgan State University.
As a Sports Medicine physician, Dr. Cozzi specializes in the evaluation and management of non-operative orthopedic problems, ranging from simple fractures and complex sprains to overuse injuries, arthritis, concussions, and more.
Dr. Cozzi received his undergraduate degree from The University of Notre Dame and earned his medical degree from Midwestern University where he was the recipient of the Family Medicine Departmental Award. He completed Family Medicine residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Cozzi then completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Maryland where he worked with professional, collegiate and high school athletes in the Baltimore area.
