About me
Rachna Malhotra, DO, is the Medical Director of the Stroke Recovery Program of MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital and Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Georgetown University.
Dr. Malhotra completed her internship at St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital in New York before she joined the Georgetown University/MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital PM&R residency training program.
She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Malhotra received her DO from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, NY.
Dr. Malhotra is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She manages both inpatient and outpatient stroke services at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Malhotra's of philosophy of care is to focus on getting patients back to their daily life and educating patients on preventing further strokes. Her clinical expertise and areas of focus include stroke in the young and secondary stroke prevention.
