About me
Ramarao Vunnam, MBBS, is a cardiologist at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine and trained in noninvasive cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear medicine. Dr. Vunnam treats patients with cardiovascular conditions and diseases, including heart rhythm disorders, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
As a general cardiologist, Dr. Vunnam works with his patients to prevent, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular diseases and conditions. His main research interests lie in using imaging modalities to diagnose heart rhythm disorders, and he has performed his research in collaboration with the Maryland Arrhythmia and Cardiology Imaging Group.
Dr. Vunnam speaks Telugu and loves spending time with his two children.
