About me
Rezanne Khalil, MD, is the medical director of the Center for Successful Aging at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and the Section Chief of Geriatrics at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.
Dr. Khalil completed her internal medicine residency at the MedStar Health Internal Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore in 2017, and subsequently pursued specialty training in geriatric medicine at the University of Maryland in 2018. She joined the MedStar Geriatric Service Line in 2018, providing care across skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and independent senior living facilities.
When the Center for Successful Aging opened in 2021, Dr. Khalil was tapped to lead it, and she is widely recognized for providing exceptional, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of older adults.
Seeking to further expand her expertise in preventative health, she pursued additional education in Lifestyle Medicine and became board-certified in the field.
Dr. Khalil masterfully merges two essential frameworks in her practice: the 4Ms of Geriatrics (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility) and the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine. This comprehensive, evidence-based approach allows her to deliver highly personalized, patient-centered care that directly improves the healthspan and vitality of older adults. By combining advanced clinical geriatrics with preventative lifestyle strategies, she empowers seniors to make meaningful changes that preserve their independence, optimize cognitive health, and enhance their overall quality of life.
