About me
Sameer Alrefai, MD, specializes in general surgery as well as minimally invasive, bariatric, and gastrointestinal surgery. He received his medical degree from Jordan University Science of Technology and completed an internship at Princess Basma Hospital. Dr. Alrefai completed three residencies: the first at Jordan University Hospital, the second at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center Health Care System, and the third at Montefiore Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. Dr. Alrefai is board certified in surgery.
