Sadhana "Sruvee" Sathi, MD

Sadhana "Sruvee" Sathi, MD Sruvee is currently a PGY3 resident at UT-Southwestern residency in Dallas, Texas. Sruvee is originally from the DMV area and completed undergraduate degrees in Public Health and Neuroscience at the College of William and Mary where she earned recognition for Outstanding Contributions to the College Community, which was awared to only 7 graduating seniors, and was names a Monroe Scholar and provided funding for independent research. She also earned an M.S. degree from Georgetown University in Biomedical Science and stayed at Georgetown University for medical school. At GUSOM, she served as the Education Coordinator for the local chapter of Physicians for Human Rights, which was named Student Organization of the Year under her tenure and served as the Curriculum Chair for the Climat Health and Medical Sustainability Curriculum. At UT-Southwestern, she is a resident member of the Teen RISE (Recovery through Inspiration, Support, and Empowerment) project, which aims to address post-inpatient stay gaps for adolescents through a community-based, recovery-oriented curriculum, and a Resident Co-Facilitator in UT Southwestern's Clinician Educator Track. She has strong interests in medical education, transition-age youth, perinatal and infant mental health, community mental health, and working with underserved communities. Big welcome to Sruvee!
