Alyssa Kang, DO

Alyssa Kang is a first year fellow in the program. Originally from Northern Virginia and attended the College of William & Mary for her undergraduate studies. After college, she initially pursued a career in classical piano before transitioning to medicine after being inspired by physician mentors she met while working as an emergency room scribe. She earned her medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. She is passionate about endocrinology and enjoys combining the science of gland physiology with the challenge of solving complex clinical cases while empowering patients to make lasting lifestyle changes. Outside of work, she enjoys playing Beethoven piano sonatas, kayaking, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her family.
