He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marist College and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences at The Commonwealth Medical College. He received his MD degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed his residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, PA. Richard's interests include general infectious diseases, tropical medicine, travel medicine, and global health. Nikeith “Nick” Shah is originally from Rockville, Maryland, and is proud to be back in the DMV for fellowship. He completed his undergraduate degree at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., followed by medical school at TouroCOM in Middletown, New York and residency at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. His interests include general infectious diseases, academia and public health. In his spare time, he enjoys watching tennis (huge Federer fan), playing the drums, and continuing to hone his breakdancing skills. Originally from Southwest Virginia, Dr. Antoun graduated from medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Virginia Tech – Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. He is thrilled to join the Infectious Diseases team here at Georgetown. His interests include general infectious disease, anti-microbial stewardship, travel medicine, and fungal infections. In his spare time, you can find Richard tending to his rooftop garden, exploring local restaurants, or dragging his wife to local bluegrass / folk bands.Vivekanand Tatineni, DO

Vivek grew up in White Plains, NY, and completed both medical school (Marian College of Osteopathic Medicine) and residency in Indianapolis (Ascension St. Vincent Hospital), before deciding to move back to the East Coast for fellowship at Georgetown. His interests include general Infectious Diseases, as well as complicated line and device infections. Jinju Li was born and raised in New York. She completed her undergraduate degree at New York University, post-baccalaureate at University of Pennsylvania, medical school at LECOM, and residency at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. Her interests include general infectious disease, antibiotic stewardship, and hospital epidemiology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, adventures with her dog, Bear, and traveling.
