Originally from Southwest Virginia, Dr. Antoun graduated from medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Virginia Tech – Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. He is thrilled to join the Infectious Diseases team here at Georgetown. His interests include general infectious disease, anti-microbial stewardship, travel medicine, and fungal infections. In his spare time, you can find Richard tending to his rooftop garden, exploring local restaurants, or dragging his wife to local bluegrass / folk bands.
