Heather Hartman-Hall, PhD is an Associate Program Director and the Director of Residency Wellbeing and Behavioral Health Education for the MedStar Health Internal Medicine residency program in Baltimore. She serves as the Chair of the MedStar Health GME Wellbeing Committee and directs the systemwide Wellness Champions program. Dr. Hartman-Hall earned her PhD in clinical psychology from American University in Washington, D.C., and completed the APA-accredited psychology internship at Springfield Hospital Center. Her areas of expertise include occupational stress, psychological trauma, mood disorders, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. She precepts primary care behavioral health clinics at MUMH and MFSMC.  Dr. Hartman-Hall is active in research as well as mentoring resident and student scholarly work about well-being in healthcare as well as behavioral health topics/quality improvement projects.
