Dr. Diamond is a Georgetown Chief Resident who serves as Quality Improvement Chief at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He grew up in northern New Jersey and earned dual B.S. degrees in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was accepted into an early assurance program to the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, later completing his M.D. there. As a Georgetown resident, he was involved with research on immune checkpoint inhibitor toxicity in oncology and also participated in the Michael Adams Clinician Educator (MACE) Track, earning the William P. Argy Medical Education Award for his teaching, which usually comes with an excuse to nerd out on medical history during morning report. Outside of medicine, he plays guitar, gets in pickup soccer when he can, is an unapologetic (if long-suffering) Mets, Giants, and Rangers fan, and will absolutely never turn down a Wawa run. After residency, he hopes to continue on to a hematology-oncology fellowship.
