Arooba Tariq, MBBS
Originally from Peshawar, Pakistan, I moved to Washington, DC with my husband, and somewhere along the way, DC became my home away from home. When I’m not at the hospital, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, discovering their unique history and culture, or planning my next adventure. I have a particular soft spot for DC’s cherry blossoms in the spring and its beautiful fall colors. And if you see me walking past a Barnes & Noble, there’s a good chance I’m going in “just to look around” and coming out an hour later! I love getting lost among the books and discovering something new. I’m excited to begin my journey in Pediatrics, meet new people, and make plenty of wonderful memories along the way.
