Why NRH-Georgetown? NRH stands out to me for its strong reputation in training well-rounded physiatrists within a supportive and collaborative environment. Most importantly though, is the people. From the residents to the attendings and staff, everyone I encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming. I am especially drawn to the program’s outstanding mentorship, commitment to resident education, and the opportunities available through research and community-based initiatives. The program offers the comprehensive training I need to grow into a skilled, thoughtful, and versatile physiatrist. Training in DC is especially meaningful to me because I have family in the DMV and would value the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in such a vibrant city.
