Hajar Moramand, PhD

Hajar Moradmand, PhD, is a Medical Physics Resident in the Department of Radiation Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She earned her PhD in Medical Radiation Engineering and completed postdoctoral research in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence, radiomics, quantitative imaging to radiation oncology, and understanding biological responses to FLASH proton radiotherapy. She is particularly interested in translating advanced computational methods into clinically meaningful tools to improve treatment personalization, efficiency, and patient outcomes in radiation therapy.
