Kassie Savoy serves as assistant vice president of Operations for MedStar Medical Group. In this role, she provides administrative leadership and oversight for MedStar Shah Medical Group, which includes more than 170 providers and more than 20 sites in the Southern Maryland region and Prince George’s County.
Prior to this role, Savoy served as senior director of Operations for the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute (MHVI). In that capacity, she oversaw the cardiology, cardiac hospitalist, and electrophysiology service lines, as well as several MHVI multi-specialty ambulatory sites in the Washington region.
Savoy joined MedStar Health in 2009, beginning her career in Human Resources before taking on roles in Medical Affairs and orthopedics, all at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
Kassie earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Towson University and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Maryland.
