Wendy McAtee is the research compliance director at MedStar Health Research Institute. In this role, Wendy is responsible for implementing MedStar Health research compliance and privacy programs. She serves as the privacy liaison for research across all MedStar Health facilities, and works collaboratively with research stakeholders to implement MedStar Health's annual compliance work plans, systems, processes, and policies.
Before joining the MedStar Health Research Institute, Wendy served as a research compliance auditor at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University and is working towards her Healthcare Research Compliance Certification. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and being outdoors with her two bichons puppies.
