Amy Will, MBA, serves as Executive Director and Scientific Center Administrator for the Women and Children's Research Network at MedStar Health Research Institute. In this role, she shapes the strategic direction and growth of a research portfolio dedicated to improving health outcomes for women and children by driving new opportunities for sponsored research, cultivating institutional and external partnerships, and elevating the visibility and impact of MedStar Health's work in this critical area. She serves as the connective leader between researchers, clinicians, and the infrastructure, resources, and support needed to advance high-quality science.
Amy's MedStar Health journey began in 2013, when she joined as a research assistant on the Human Factors team. Over the past decade, she has grown through progressively senior roles, most recently in Healthcare Delivery Research, where she led initiatives spanning Health Equity, Implementation Science, and Diagnostic System Safety, among others.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from East Carolina University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, with focuses in artificial intelligence, technology and data analytics, finance, leadership, and strategy.
