Welcome to advanced heart failure at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital
Advanced heart failure is a serious stage of heart failure in which symptoms continue to worsen despite treatment. Patients may experience increased shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling, repeated hospital stays, heart rhythm problems or ICD shocks, and worsening kidney function. At this stage, medications alone may no longer provide enough relief, and more specialized care may be needed. Our team offers comprehensive evaluation, advanced treatment options, and ongoing support tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Tania Vora will see patients in-clinic at this location with Dr. Ajay Kadakkal and Dr. Miguel Pinilla Vera providing coverage as needed.
