The Infusion Center at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, is part of a beautiful new cancer center that offers state-of-the-art care in a peaceful, healing environment.
Conveniently located for individuals who live or work in Prince George’s County and the Southern Maryland region, we provide a wide range of IV therapies in a comfortable setting. We have 13 spacious treatment bays, including several that are private. In addition, all our nurses are chemo-biotherapy certified.
In addition, through our affiliation with MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute, patients have access to clinical trials offered through the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only institution in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region designated as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute.
We offer a variety of amenities, including light snacks, and have a social worker and nurse practitioner on staff to address patients' questions. Our center is easy to get to, and parking is free.
