Tammy Megonigal-Rossbach, PT, MPT, CCI, assistance vice president of Quality oversees quality assurance and regulatory compliance across four MedStar Health Home Care companies and provides support to the physician orders department. With home healthcare being a highly regulated business, Megonigal-Rossbach leverages her 26 years of experience and clinical expertise to support homecare providers in meeting the Centers’ for Medicare and Medicaid Services high standards for compliance and licensure. Megonigal-Rossbach focuses her strategic leadership efforts on ensuring the highest quality of patient care, the safest environment for team members and patients, and the best overall patient experience.
In 2021, she was appointed to the board of directors for the Maryland-National Capital Homecare Association (MNCHA). In her career, Megonigal-Rossbach has developed and implemented system-wide quality standards, assessed compliance, and provided Joint Commission preparation leadership and survey support, as well as state and federal regulatory guidance. Her quality and safety experience also includes significant leadership roles on MedStar Health’s system-wide committees for Patient Safety, High Reliability, and Workplace Violence and Emergency Preparedness.
Megonigal-Rossbach has a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
