About me
Malek Cheikh, MD, is an endocrinologist at both MedStar Union Memorial and MedStar Good Samaritan hospitals. He is board certified in internal medicine and a fellowship-trained endocrinologist. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and thyroid disorders. He implements novel diabetes medications and treatment methods in his practice to help patients achieve not only good diabetes control, but also a good quality of life. Dr. Cheikh has a special interest in caring for patients with osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases.
