About me
Ayesha Hatch, MD, is a vascular surgeon at MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. She specializes in providing vascular access for patients who have chronic kidney disease and are in need of dialysis. She has a particular interest in treating those with end-stage renal disease.
In her practice, Dr. Hatch is committed to developing long-term relationships with her patients and their physicians. She believes that achieving optimal chronic disease management requires collaborative and constant communication between all parties. Understanding that dialysis access can be an ongoing struggle to maintain, she seeks the perspective of the patient’s nephrologist, who can share how the access and treatment is working, along with the potential barriers to care. Her relationship with each patient enables her to provide options that fit best into their unique life circumstances.
Dr. Hatch is available to see patients in person or virtually.
