About me
Fatemeh Milani, MD, is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) consultant at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (Hospital Center) and a specialist in PM&R at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Before joining MedStar NRH in 1987, she was an assistant professor and Chief of the Department of Rehabilitation at Loghman Hakim Hospital at the National University of Iran in Tehran.
Dr. Milani performs physiatry consults at the Hospital Center. She received her medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Victoria General Hospital/Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York, and an internship in internal medicine at Huron Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Milani is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
