Hyein Jeon, MD, is a fellowship-trained medical oncologist specializing in thoracic and related thoracic malignancies. Her expertise in precision medicine, immunotherapy, and the tumor immune microenvironment brings unique offerings to patients throughout the Washington, D.C., region.
Dr. Jeon’s research interests include thoracic cancer, with a focus on immunotherapy outcomes, the dynamics of the tumor immune landscape, and the role of socioeconomic disparities in shaping cancer outcomes. She has presented her work nationally and is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the evolving science of cancer care and personalized treatment strategies.
An experienced educator, Dr. Jeon has held multiple teaching roles for medical students and residents and served as chief fellow during her hematology-oncology training at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is committed to mentorship and fostering the next generation of physicians through her involvement in medical education and program development.
