About me
Jean Crowell Bolan, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. In addition to seeing pregnant patients and women considering pregnancy, Dr. Bolan is the medical director of labor and delivery and post-partum services at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and an associate professor at Georgetown University Medical Center.
Building relationships and ensuring that women receive quality medical services drew Dr. Bolan to her specialty and are still at the heart of her approach to patient care today. She focuses on providing patients options and information to help them decide what's best for them and their babies. When patients face challenges of high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Bolan offers the expertise needed, while treating the pregnancy as normally as possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Bolan enjoys cooking and serves on the steering committee of a Washington-area wine-tasting group that has been together for over 40 years.
